القاهرة،: وقعت “فيزا”، الشركة العالمية الرائدة بمجال تكنولوجيا المدفوعات الرقمية؛ و”مالتي ليڤل جروب” (Multi Level Group)، شركة التكنولوجيا المالية الرائدة والتي تحظى بسجل حافل بمجال التحول الرقمي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا؛ مذكرة تفاهم خلال “مؤتمر ومعرض النقل للشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا 2022”. تهدف المذكرة إلى تعزيز سبل التعاون في مجال إصدار الحلول الرقمية والحصول عليها في منطقة شمال أفريقيا.
وبموجب المذكرة وفي ضوء مبادرة “فيزا” العالمية لتحسين تجربة الدفع الرقمي وغير النقدي؛ ستتعاون “فيزا” و”مالتي ليڤل جروب” لتطبيق تجارب رقمية مختلفة في القطاعين العام والخاص. ويأتي قطاع النقل في طليعة أهداف هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية، حيث ستقدم الشركتان حلول تنقل من شأنها أن تحسّن من تجربة الركاب وتقلل من أوقات السفر عبر السماح لهم بدفع تكاليف رحلتهم عبر استخدام الأجهزة القابلة للارتداء أو البطاقات اللاتلامسية ومسبقة الدفع ذات العلامات التجارية المشتركة من “فيزا”. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، ستتيح هذه الشراكة إمكانية الاستفادة من تقنيات “فيزا” و”مالتي ليڤل جروب” لتمكين وتوسيع نطاق حلول القبول الرقمية المتاحة للتجار عبر أسواق مختلفة في منطقة شمال أفريقيا.
وبهذه المناسبة، قالت ليلى سرحان، نائب الرئيس الأول ومدير أعمال “فيزا” في منطقة شمال أفريقيا ودول المشرق وباكستان: “يسرنا أن نعلن عن هذه الخطوة المهمة اليوم، حيث بات اعتماد المدفوعات الرقمية ضرورة في المشاريع العامة والخاصة؛ ويشكل قطاع النقل مجالاً رئيسياً من المتوقع أن يشهد نقلة نوعية عقب اعتماد المدفوعات اللاتلامسية، سيما وأننا نشهد تركيز مصر وكامل منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا اليوم وأكثر من أي وقت مضى على عملية التحول الرقمي. وسيتمحور تعاوننا مع مجموعة ’مالتي ليڤل جروب‘ حول مفهوم التآزر والتبادل المعرفي لتقديم حلول التنقل الذكية وغير النقدية عبر الأسواق الرئيسية لمنطقة شمال أفريقيا. وتدعم ’فيزا‘ حالياً أكثر من 450 مشروعاً في جميع أنحاء العالم، ونتطلع إلى توظيف خبراتنا في مجال المدفوعات اللاتلامسية والتنقل الحضري من خلال هذه المبادرة”.
وتساهم حلول التنقل الحضري من “فيزا”، مثل نماذج“Visa Known Fare Transit” و”Mobility & Transport Transaction” و “ Visa Ready for Transit“، في حفز عملية التحول في قطاع النقل العام عالمياً عن طريق تقليل تكاليف البنية التحتية (شبابيك بيع التذاكر وآلات البيع) وتحسين تجربة العملاء العامة لزيادة عدد الركاب ودعم نمو الإيرادات.

Visa and Multi Level Group “MLG” sign Memorandum of Understanding to make contactless payment options accessible across the North Africa region
· Initiative to explore potential work opportunities in the areas of issuance and acquisition of contactless digital solutions in North Africa and the cashless environments
· Visa and MLG will explore Visa’s urban mobility solutions, including Visa Mobility & Transport Transaction, to enhance the passenger experience and ensure a cashless transit experience
Cairo, – Visa, the world’s leader in digital payments, and Multi Level Group (MLG), a leading fintech company with remarkable track record in digital transformation across the MENA region, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition 2022 to collaborate in the areas of issuing and acquiring contactless digital solutions in North Africa.
Under the MOU, and in light of Visa’s global initiative to improve the cashless and digital payment experience, Visa will work with “MLG” to implement various digital experiences in both the private and public sector. Transit comes at the forefront of this strategic partnership whereby both organizations would offer transit solutions that would make passenger experience seamless and reduce travel time by allowing passengers to pay for their ride using their everyday contactless Visa prepaid and co-branded cards or wearable devices.
In addition, the initiative will also leverage Visa and MLG technologies to enable and expand digital acceptance solutions for merchants across markets in various markets across North Africa.
Commenting on the MOU signing, Leila Serhan, Visa’s Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for NALP, said: “We are pleased to make this important announcement today. The adoption of digital payments is becoming a necessity in public and private projects and transportation is a key area where contactless payments will make a difference, especially as we see Egypt and the entire MENA region focus more than ever on digital transformation. Visa’s urban mobility solutions such as the “Visa Known Fare Transit” model, the “Mobility & Transport Transaction” model, and the “Visa Ready for Transit” model are catalyzing the transformation of mass transit globally by reducing infrastructure costs (ticket counters and vending machines) and improving the overall customer experience to drive ridership and revenue growth.
